Safe Installation Protocols

At Comfort, we are a family-owned company guided by the principle to be The Name You Know, The People You Trust. We hire our own installers because we want you to be comfortable with the people that will be coming to work on your home. We screen each employee, train them on Comfort best practices and ensure that they will arrive on time to work on your projects through completion. We know your home is your family’s biggest investment so we don’t have installers as part of our staff that we wouldn’t trust to work on our own homes.

We believe in creating a safe installation environment for all of our employees and customers. Below is what you can expect when your Comfort project is being installed...

  • A professional installation without any shortcuts being taken.
  • Installation of your Comfort project by a team of Comfort-screened installers.
  • Comfort installers to show up on time with all materials ready to work on your project.
  • All Comfort installers to abide by strict OSHA regulations set forth by the federal government on the worksite of your project.
  • As Comfort is an EPA lead-safe certified contractor all installers will abide by all lead safe work practices while working on your home. To learn more about our lead safe practices, click here.

Comfort is devoted to the safety of its employees and customers. Therefore, it has implemented the following additional safety precautions in response to COVID-19:

  • All Comfort employees that arrive at your home will respect a 6-foot perimeter to avoid immediate contact with anyone living in the home.
  • All installers will be equipped with masks/gloves and will always wear them while in your home.
  • All Comfort employees will abide by strict sanitation guidelines we have set forth which include cleaning standards for tools, equipment, products, and workspaces as well as personal hygiene measures as required or recommended by the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and Department of Health (DOH).
  • We screen employees at the start of each day to ensure they are not exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms identified by the CDC and DOH. Our employees are not permitted in our facilities let alone in your home if they exhibit any COVID-19 symptoms identified by the CDC and DOH.
  • Our employees must verify each day that they have not traveled to a Level 2 or 3 country as identified by the CDC and that they have not been diagnosed with COVID-19 nor had contact with anyone known to have been exposed to COVID-19. Employees who answer yes to any of these questions are not allowed in company facilities or to have physical contact with any customer or their home until they have been medically cleared to return to work following an appropriate quarantine period in accordance with CDC and DOH guidance.
