Comfort Wins 2007 BBB Torch Award

Comfort Window Co., Inc. is the 2007 Winner of the Better Business Bureau’s Torch Award for Marketplace Ethics. This prestigious award is presented annually to outstanding businesses from Upstate New York for their commitment to exceptional standards of business ethics and conduct in relationships with their customers, employees, suppliers and their surrounding communities. Each year, one winner is selected from each of four size categories by an independent panel of business and community leaders based on criteria established with the Better Business Bureau.

Comfort Windows™ is the only Full Line window retailer in the home improvement industry to win the Torch Award for both 2005 and 2007. Best known for their “locally manufactured” hand crafted windows, Comfort has branches in Syracuse, Rochester, Albany and Buffalo employing approximately 150 people across these locations. In addition to windows, Comfort provides High Performance Door Systems, Structural Siding, Extended Living Sunrooms, and Basement remodeling. Comfort also has a division of specialists certified by the Building Performance Institute to participate in Home Performance with ENERGY STAR, a national government-sponsored program that offers a whole-house approach to improving energy efficiency and comfort in the home.
